It's hard to believe we're halfway through Summer already... Guys, this makes me so sad because I feel like Summer goes by in a flash and then we're left with dreary winter! Anyhoo, there's still plenty of Summer to enjoy with my holiday coming up so let's quit the whining and look back at the month of July.
É difÃcil de acreditar que já vamos (mais de) a meio do verão... Fico mesmo triste porque parece que o verão passa sempre num ápice e depois só nos resta levar com o inverno horrÃvel! Mas adiante, ainda há muito verão para aproveitar, principalmente com as minhas férias aà à porta, portanto vamos deixar-nos de queixumes e olhar para o que julho nos trouxe.
First up, some purchases. This Benefit eyebrow kit has been a total game changer for me and my brows! I couldn't recommend this enough, value for money is simply outstanding - read more on the products here. Also picked up this beautiful pink biker jacket from Zara and these Valentino-esque sandals from the sale over at Mango. Score!

One of my favourite things to do during summer is to take a stroll by the river. It's perfect to cool down and feel blessed to live in such a safe, beautiful and picturesque country as is Portugal.
Uma das minhas coisas favoritas para fazer durante o verão é passear na Foz e à beira rio. É perfeito para refrescar durante estes dias de imenso calor e dá para apreciar estas paisagens lindas do nosso paÃs.
July was also a very special month for all of us Portuguese, after Portugal won the Euro 2016 and became Champions of Europe. I feel so blessed to have lived such happy days in my country - I'd never seen us Portuguese so united and genuinely happy before. I'll never forget this for as long as I shall live! Of course it meant double the work - I'm a sports journalist - but it was such a fulfilling month at work!
Julho foi também um mês mega especial para todos os portugueses, depois de Portugal ter conquistado o Euro 2016 e nos termos sagrado Campeões da Europa pela primeira vez na nossa história. Sinto-me uma felizarda por ter vivido estes dias de tamanha felicidade e união em Portugal, foi uma experiência única. Foi também o dobro do trabalho no jornal - vida de jornalista de desporto - mas foi também um mês muito enriquecedor nesse aspeto!
With summer well and truly on, holiday prep began! My allies are the St. Tropez self tan mousse, an array of Piz Buin lotions (my favourite brand of sunscreen), a pack of Invisibobble and other bits and bobs I will show you guys very soon! Also time for a breathtaking sunset and to take my new white dress out for a spin.

Sunsetting in a mini dress and this breathtaking view... Also had time to stop by the FC Porto store and pick out my new jersey for the 2016/17 season, woo-hoo! And to wrap up the month, my new white jumpsuit that makes me feel like a damn classy lady ;).
Pôr-do-sol num vestido curto e com uma vista de babar... Também houve tempo para fazer uma visita à FC Porto Store para escolher a minha camisola para 2016/17, woo-hoo! E para finalizar o mês, nada melhor que um jumpsuit branco que me faz sentir uma lady ;).

ReplyDeleteYessss I agree summer needs to be longer! It's not even that hot in England anymore - we had about two weeks of nice hot weather and that was it haha! Love your photos so much, that pink Zara jacket is too die for!
