Oh, Sephora, o meu Paraíso na Terra. Somos bastante sortudos aqui em Portugal, uma vez que há sempre promoções fantásticas em loja e 20% de desconto para membros quase todos os meses, ao contrário do que se verifica na América. Este mês, a Sephora mimou-nos bem e está com uma promoção incrível: 2 pincéis da marca Sephora pelo preço de 1 (!) - sim, até a linha Pro! Se sabem quão fantásticos os pincéis Pro da Sephora são, então entendem a minha alegria! Especialmente porque a) são caros para xuxu e b) nunca estão em promoção, portanto... Double yay!
Comprei o Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 (25€), para aplicar base com uma cobertura média e o Pro Angled Blush Brush (28€). Com a promoção paguei 28€ pelos dois (em vez de mais de 50€!), portanto foi um meeeega negócio.
Oh, Sephora, my Heaven on Earth. We're pretty lucky in Portugal as there's always some promotions in store and a lovely 20% off sale for members practically every month and this November I found the BEST promotion of all: 2 Sephora own brand brushes for the price of 1 (!) - and yes, even the Pro range! If you know how amazing the Sephora Pro brushes are, you will surely understand my excitement! Especially since a) they're super expensive and b) they're never included in any promotion, so... Double the thrill!
I picked up the Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 (25€), which is meant for applying foundation with a medium finish and the Pro Angled Blush Brush #49 (28€). With the promotion, I ended up paying 28€ for the both of them, which is an absolute steal! I do love a good deal, me.
My Thoughts
Estes pincéis são premium e de uma qualidade imensa, portanto considero-os um investimento. São uma mistura entre pelo sintético e natural, o que resulta num pincel SUPER macio (rabinho de bebé), mas com cerdas bem densas. Todos os pincéis vêm com uma tampa protetora e são bem pesados e de grande qualidade - os cabos são mergulhados manualmente em verniz preto 9 vezes para não perderem o brilho e são cromados, para nunca mancharem ou perderem a cor! São pincéis lindos e que valem todo o €€€. Vamos olhar para cada um.
These are definitely some premium, high quality brushes that I consider to be an investment if you're serious/invested in makeup. These are a mix of synthetic and natural hair, which results in SUPER soft (like, baby butt soft) and dense bristles that are a dream to work with. Every brush comes with a cap and the handles are dipped nine times by hand in black lacquer to make them extra shiny - I know, doesn't affect their actual purpose, but it matters to me, OKAY ;). Let's look into both of them.
Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 // Aquele que sempre quis. Sou fiel ao meu 102 Silk Finish da Zoeva, mas este é diferente. A cabeça é mais pequena mas densa, portanto dá-me um acabamento totalmente flawless! Espalha a base como um sonho e é tão, tão macio. Devido ao formato do pincel conseguem chegar bem aqueles cantos chatos (nariz) e até aplicar o vosso corretor, como um 2 em 1. Hype 100% justificada!
The one I've always wanted. I'm faithful to my beloved Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush, but this one is completely different. The head is smaller and the bristles are denser, which gives me FLAWLESS coverage. It blends foundation like a dream and feels amazing on the skin. Because of its shape you can really get in those crevices around the nose and even apply concealer, making this a real 2 in 1. Worth the hype and then some!
Pro Angled Blush Brush #49 // Aquele que mais precisava. Estava indecisa entre este e o concealer brush, mas a senhora (super simpática) recomendou-me este porque compensava mais e porque é multifuncional: dá para blush, iluminador e contour! Ainda não experimentei o contorno, mas os outros dois estão aprovadíssimos!
The one I needed the most. I was torn between this and the concealer brush, but the lady (so nice, by the way) recommended this one instead because it was better value and it's so multi-functional: great for blush, contour AND highlight, because of the angled shape. Haven't tried contouring, but the other two are definitely approved!
Estes pincéis são realmente incríveis! Mesmo eu, aquela pessoa que ODEIA gastar dinheiro em pincéis, estou mega entusiasmada por os ter na minha coleção. Esta promoção da Sephora é válida até dia 24 de novembro de 2016, portanto se querem uns pincéis top, já sabem onde ir :).
These brushes are seriously incredible! Even myself, that person who HATES spending money on brushes, am super thrilled to have added these to my collection.
