It's no secret by now that MAC is my obsession. I have a list on my iPhone of all the things I want to get eventually, so I can scratch some stuff off it as I purchase them throughout this year. I've compiled a wishlist containing some of those items for you to browse through! Oh, and by the way, you are cordially invited to the crying session my bank account is hosting not too long from now... ;).
Já não é segredo nenhum que a MAC é a minha obsessão. Tenho uma lista no meu iPhone de coisas que quero comprar, de modo a ir riscando à medida que as vou acrescentado ao meu arsenal de beleza ao longo deste ano. Para vocês, compilei uma pequena lista com algumas das coisas que quero (mesmo) muito! Ah, e já agora, estão cordialmente convidados para o funeral da minha conta bancária, que já vai chorando só de pensar no que aí vem... ;).
- MAC Lipsticks in 'Twig', 'Velvet Teddy' and 'Mehr' – Basically, MAC lipsticks are my religion. I feel them on a spiritual level and I won't rest until I have more than my age (21, currently...). I know they all look identical and I probably don't even need them in my life, except I most certainly do and I plan on building quite the collection this year! The finishes here are Satin (Twig) and Matte (Velvet Teddy and Mehr). // Basicamente, os batons da MAC são a minha religião. Sinto-os a nível espiritual e dá-me um gozo inexplicável ir colecionando, batom a batom... Nem sei, são pancas, que dizer? Não vou descansar até ter mais do que a minha idade (21 anos, atualmente...). Bem sei que, à primeira vista, estes três parecem quase iguais e provavelmente dispensava-os da minha coleção (só que nunca), mas planeio construir uma boa coleção de batons MAC este ano e estes não falham. Aqui temos um batom Satin (Twig) e dois Matte (Velvet Teddy e Mehr).
- MAC Highlighter in 'Lightscapade' – Well, if you have combination to oily skin like myself, highlighters are usually a no go. I mean, our skin produces the 'glow' all on its own (even though some of us wish it didn't – ehem, me!), so we best avoid strong highlighters in fear of looking as if we bathed in a frying pan. But me, being the little brat that I can be, still want to use highlighter – I mean, why the heck shouldn't I? – and this one comes highly recommended. Besides being uber gorgeous and oh so pretty to photograph, it's also subtle and gives you that soft glow. Uhm, YES PLEASE. // Se têm pele mista a oleosa como eu, iluminadores são normalmente dispensáveis (e não aconselháveis). Quer dizer, a nossa pele dá-nos o 'glow' por si só – ainda que algumas pessoas preferissem que não o fizesse... eu, prazer! –, pelo que mais vale evitá-los do que parecer que pusemos óleo de fritar em vez do hidratante de manhã. Mas eu, tão obstinada que sou, bati o pé e exigi o direito de usar iluminador. Este vem super bem recomendado: primeiro, é lindo que só ele e perfeito para fotografar (olho de fotógrafa sempre a trabalhar), e depois é indicado para peles claras, é subtil e suave, como eu gosto.
- MAC Mineralized Blush in 'Dainty' – Another gem for all the fair skinned gals out there who also enjoy a healthy flush of colour on the cheeks with a bit of glow. I mean, let's face it, who doesn't? I know I sure do! This one in particular is simply stunning – it's light pink with a hint of coral – and can double as a (subtle) highlighter as well as a blush. Also, it's crazy pigmented. Get in mah life! // Outro achado para as meninas de pele clara que gostam de um 'flush' de cor natural nas bochechas com um pouco de brilho à mistura. Se também se identificaram com esta descrição, este blush é para nós! Este blush da MAC é lindo de morrer – tem um tom rosa claro com um pouco de coral à mistura – e pode servir também como um iluminador (subtil). Para além disso, é super pigmentado. Quero, quero e quero.
- MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in 'Painterly' – I admit it, I'm not a big fan of eyeshadow. I love it on other people, but hate it on myself! There's been only one time in my life when I've done eyeshadow right, and it was with one of Maybelline's Colour Tattoo pots in 'On and On Bronze' (it's a bold one, too!). I feel soft, everyday neutral colours suit me best – especially if they're purple toned – so the 'Painterly' paint pot is perfect for me! // Confesso, não sou fã de sombras. De todo! Adoro ver noutras meninas, mas odeio-as em mim. Nunca seria capaz de dar uma fortuna por paletes de sombras porque, realmente, o uso seria quase nulo. Só há uma sombra que me permito usar, que é uma das Colour Tattoos da Maybelline, na cor 'On and On Bronze' (linda mas super pigmentada!). Porém, sinto que cores mais claras, quase invisíveis me ficam melhor – especialmente se tiverem um tom a fugir para o roxo –, pelo que o Paint Pot da MAC na cor 'Painterly' me parece o ideal.
