I've spoken a lot about Kiehl's on the blog before, I really enjoy the brand and their fuss free approach to skincare, making it easy and effective for us consumers. I couldn't resist the 20% off discount during the Friends & Family event and I decided to grow my Midnight family...
Deixa-me a pele limpa, hidratada e mega confortável, recomendo a 100 por cento.
For those who don't know the iconic Midnight Recovery Concentrate, one of Kiehl's bestsellers, this is a night oil enriched with squalane and oils derived from plants such as lavender, primrose and geranium which work to restore, hydrate and soothe the skin overnight. If at first I thought this was all hype and no results, now I wake up to clearer, hydrated and calmer skin. It's definitely not one of those products you'll see immediate results with – how many of those even exist?! – but if you stick with it, you'll see results.
Because I love the concentrate so much, I felt the 20% off were the perfect excuse to grab its sister, the Midnight Botanical Cleansing Oil. This is a lightweight oil which cleanses the skin thoroughly, freeing it from the day's dirt and bacteria. I used to run away from oils like cats from water, mainly because I had oily skin and feared fighting oil with oil would only produce, well, MORE oil. However, and even though my skin is more dry than oily now, I now know that oils are beneficial to any skin type, especially when used as a cleanser. This one, enriched with the same ingredients as my beloved MNR, will enhance its benefits and leave skin feeling super soft, quenched and deeply cleansed.
