A NYX é uma daquelas marcas BBB - boa, barata e bonita. A maioria dos produtos são fantásticos e é tudo muito em conta, dificilmente se paga mais do que 10-12€ por qualquer coisa. O único problema? É difícil de encontrar em Portugal! Bem sei que abriu uma loja da marca por Lisboa, mas aqui as meninas do Norte ficam sempre esquecidas e temos de recorrer às lojas online ou a amigas mega generosas que nos mandam estes miminhos bons de fora. Recebi este Soft Matte Lip Cream na cor Istanbul como prendinha e não é que me apaixonei?!
NYX is one of those triple threat brands - nice, gorgeous and affordable. Most of the products are amazing and everything is super budget friendly, as you'll hardly pay more than 10-12€ for a single product. The only problem? It's not readily available in Portugal! We now have a NYX store all the way in Lisbon, but us northern gals are always forgotten about and are forced to resort to online shopping or to generous friends who kindly send us sweet little treats like these! I got this Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Istanbul to try and I fell in looove with the formula!
Anda tudo com aquela febre dos batons líquidos mas confesso, prefiro muito mais batons cremosos ou soft matte pois não gosto daquele look 'lábios de barro', como diz a minha mãe. É por isso mesmo que estes batons da NYX são perfeitos: a fórmula é super leve, parece mesmo uma mousse a deslizar sobre os lábios e são mesmo muito confortáveis. Não secam os lábios em demasia e são ótimos para usar no dia a dia. Esta cor dura-me cerca de 3 a 4 horas nos lábios, mas imagino que as cores mais escuras durem muito mais.
Ainda assim, há alguns pontos negativos. São batons matte mas há transferência para copos, talheres, tudo que entre em contato com a nossa boca. No entanto, não transferem tanto como batons cremosos e hidratantes, como é óbvio. É preciso reaplicar durante o dia, especialmente depois de comer e beber.
That liquid lipstick fever is still going strong but I must admit, I much prefer creamier and softer matte lipsticks because I really don't enjoy that 'clay lips' look, like my mum so eloquently puts it. That's exactly why these NYX lippies are perfect: the formula feels super light and almost whipped, feels like a foamy mousse gliding onto your lips! They're very comfortable to wear, as they don't over dry your lips. This shade lasts about 3 to 4 hours on me, but I'd imagine darker shades have a better staying power.
Even so, there's some downsides. These are matte lipsticks but they still transfer on to glasses, forks, spoons, anything that comes in contact with your lips. However, they don't transfer nearly as much as some creamier lipsticks, obviously.
No geral estou mega impressionada com estes batons, são perfeitos para quem quer aquele batom matte líquido mas sem secar os lábios excessivamente. O preço é de 7.50€, dependendo da loja, pelo que são também uma opção muiiiito em conta! Já me vejo a encomendar uma catrafada de outras cores...
Overall I'm super impressed with these lipsticks, they're perfect for those of us who want that matte liquid lipstick that doesn't overly dry out your lips. The price is 7.50€, depending where you get it from, so they're also a super affordable alternative to those Kylie lip kits and Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks! I can already see myself ordering a ton of other shades - I hear Cannes is fab...
