A Sleek é uma das minhas marcas de eleição, isto porque é super em conta e está sempre a lançar produtos incríveis e que chegam a ser tão bons ou melhores do que os das marcas de luxo. Infelizmente, poucos dos produtos estrela da marca estão disponíveis em Portugal e, apesar dos meus esforços para encontrar esta paleta, não consegui (agora que já a tenho, já há na Primor... enfim). Felizmente a minha querida amiga - visitem-na aqui! - conseguiu arranjar uma e mandou-a para Portugal, para que eu também possa brilhar como os deuses ;). Yay!
Before we begin, I'd like you guys to take a look and appreciate the beauty I'm bringing you today. Done? Drooled over this highlighting palette of the gods? Then let's get cracking.
Sleek is one of my favourite brands. It's super affordable and they keep releasing amazing products that not only rival high end brands but also sometimes overtake them. Unfortunately, few Sleek products worth mentioning ever make it to the Portuguese stores, so my search for this palette was a major letdown. However, luckily sweet my friend - check out her blog here! - snapped this one up and kindly sent it over to me, so I can also glow like the gods! ;).
A palete é composta por quatro iluminadores, um em creme e os outros três em pó.
The palette comes with four highlighters: a cream one and three powder ones.
Ecliptic
Este é o único iluminador em pó da paleta. É um nude champanhe rosado - que descrição, Francisca - muito bonito, que tanto pode ser usado como um iluminador normal ou como uma sombra em creme (provavelmente o uso que lhe vou dar). A fórmula é super amanteigada e cremosa e a pigmentação é excelente.
This is the only cream highlighter in this palette. This is a champagne pinky nude - what an accurate description, Francisca - that is so gorgeous! This can be used as a regular highlighter or as a cream eyeshadow (probably what I'll use it for the most). The formula is super creamy and buttery and the pigmentation is awesome.
Hemisphere
Adoooro esta cor! Olhem só para aquele lavanda bem vivo e brilhante! Por ser branquinha posso usar estas cores mais estranhas de iluminadores, como rosas e lavandas, portanto uso-o tanto como iluminador ou como sombra, assim como para iluminar o canto do olho. Esta cor é bem intensa, por isso pede mão leve meninas! ;). Esta cor faz-me lembrar o iluminador Aura da Urban Decay, ainda que esse seja mais rosado e não tanto arroxeado.
I looove this shade! Just look at that bright and vibrant lavender! Because I have fair skin, I can get away with these more unconventional highlighter colours, such as that icy pink or a downright lavender. I use this as both a highlighter and an eyeshadow, as well as a highlighter for the inner corners of my eyes. This shade is verrry intense, so please go in lightly! ;). This also reminds me of Urban Decay's Aura, just a little less pink and more purple toned.

Subsolar
Provavelmente a cor favorita de muita gente. Este é um iluminador dourado pálido, com subtons amarelados. Esta cor é perfeita para quem gosta daquele glow intenso e bem dourado, quase metálico, e faz-me lembrar o iluminador Sin da Urban Decay. É mais subtil do que as outras cores, pelo que é mais fácil de usar e é mais apropriada para o dia a dia.
Probably most people's favourite shade in this palette. This is a pale gold highlighter with yellow undertones, perfect for those who enjoy that gold metallic sheen right on the top of the cheekbones. Even so, this is the more subtle shade out of this whole palette, so it's definitely the one you'd reach for for an everyday glow. This also reminds me of Urban Decay's Sin highlighter, which I also own.
Equinox
Esta foi a cor que mais me 'assustou' assim que abri a embalagem. É definitivamente uma cor super interessante e fora do vulgar, é assim um laranja ferrugem bem subtil que funciona bem como iluminador e como sombra (como todas as cores desta paleta). Penso que, para quem tem pele mais escura, este iluminador será perfeito, mas para quem tem pele branquina (como eu), este iluminador seria perfeito usado em cima de outro ou até mesmo como blush, para dar assim um toque de pêssego à maquilhagem. Parece-me também que será perfeito para o outono, com lábios vermelhos e maquilhagem mais escura!
This was the shade that scared me the most upon first inspection. It's definitely not the standard highlighting shade we've come to expect, it's an subtle rusty orange shade that, again, works well as a highlighter and an eyeshadow (as all other shades in this palette). I think that this would be perfect for those with darker and olive skin, but for those with a fairer skin tone such as myself, I find this would work nicely on top of another highlighter or even as a peachy blusher. This looks perfect for autumn also, paired with burgundy lips and a darker makeup!

Um compacto rose gold super brilhante e suave, que faz a paleta parecer muito mais caro do que é na realidade, um espelho full size para retocar a maquilhagem on the go... Por 11.99€ (aqui), esta paleta é um achado e sem dúvida um must-have na make up bag de qualquer beauty lover!
I couldn't finish up without mentioning this gorgeous packaging! A sleek (pun intended) rose gold compact that feels super luxurious and more expensive than it actually is, a nice full sized mirror for touch ups on the go... For 11.99€ (here), this palette is a steal and most definitely a must-have in any makeup lover's bag!
