São poucas as compras de maquilhagem que tenho feito – aliás, posso até contá-las numa só mão, algo impensável há uns meses! Tornei-me muito mais seletiva no que escolho e creio que isso se reflete no bom momento da minha pele, pelo que não quero estragar esta boa vibe ;).
I have barely bought any new makeup in many months – I can even count my purchases in one hand, something I'd deem unthinkable a while ago! I've become very selective with what I choose to put on my face and I believe that is why my skin looks the best it has looked in many, many years.
Toda esta tagarelice para vos mostrar as comprinhas mais recentes, desta vez com mais ênfase na beleza do que nos cuidados de rosto. Encomendei (sim, porque apesar de termos counter Armani por aqui, as cores só começam no 4.5!) a base Luminous Silk, uma compra que andava a adiar há meses mas que finalmente fiz com os 20% de desconto do meu aniversário. A cor que escolhi foi a 2 – é ligeiramente too light para mim, mas a cor acima era demasiado amarela! A ver como se porta com a minha pele sensível.
Já falei por aqui sobre o quanto precisava de um novo bronzer e finamente trouxe o eleito, o Milk Chocolate Soleil da Too Faced. Este bronzer é literalmente perfeição para peles clarinhas como a minha – é extremamente natural, nada alaranjado, matte e fácil de construir, tudo coisas boas.
Continuando no tema de beleza, fiz outra compra que andava a adiar há meses! Acabei finalmente com a Better than Sex da Too Faced (bye) e comprei a Velvet Noir da Marc Jacobs num cracker natalício da marca, que trazia também um batom na cor Slow Burn. Esta é, literalmente, a MELHOR máscara que já experimentei! Pestanas curtas, sem curva e tristes? Velvet Noir é a solução!
Com a chegada do inverno, os meus lábios tornaram-se ainda mais secos e gretados. Posto isto, sabia que só havia um bálsamo para eles – o Rêve de Miel da NUXE! É, sem dúvida, o bálsamo mais hidratante que já experimentei. Recomendo-o a toda a gente que vejo com lábios gretados e secos, é realmente milagroso. Este pote traz 15g de produto, por isso dura uma vida.

I ordered the very famous and very well loved Luminous Silk foundation by Giorgio Armani, having finished and liked the more matte Power Fabric offering. I ordered shade 2 via FeelUnique and even though I feel it's too light for me (I'm 3.5 in Power Fabric, for reference), I can make it work. Will report back!
I've mentioned here how much I desperately needed a new bronzer and I settled on the also famous Milk Chocolate Soleil by Too Faced. This bronzer is literally perfection for fair skin, it's extremely natural, not muddy nor orange and it's matte!
Keeping on with the beauty theme, I made another purchase I'd been postponing for months. I finished (at last!) the not so Better Than Sex mascara and knew right away the next mascara I wanted to try – Velvet Noir by Marc Jacobs! Literally PERFECTION in a tube. Stumpy, short and miserable lashes? This is your answer, out of this world length, no fallout and lasts all day long!
With the arrival of winter and the cold weather, my lips have been misbehaving and cracking like mad. I knew there was only one product that could truly salvage them and that is the NUXE Rêve de Miel lip balm! Quite simply the best lip balm I have ever tried, makes my lips feel so soft and nourished, especially when used overnight.
