And just like that, my favourite month of the year has come to an end! I hate how fast this year is going, I feel like I have so much I want to do but time keeps slipping in between my fingers like sand... Sigh. Anywho! I'm excited to share my June favourites with you today, it's been a good one if you're a fan of drugstore makeup finds!

So I know I've always said I'm not the biggest fan of drugstore makeup and that I much prefer to spend my pennies on high end goodies, but... Y'all, I was DUMB. Of course I still adore my high end makeup (you can never take away my Charlotte Tilbury lippies!) and I'll never stop buying those, but I've come to realise there are SO many amazing makeup goodies in the drugstore!

Recently I've been scouring the drugstore for some dewy, fabulous makeup products and I've found some that I'm utterly obsessed with! I know these probably won't be news to you, but here are my favourite new drugstore finds for an affordable and glowy Summer makeup look.

Summer has graced us with our first heatwave of the year and the thought of wearing anything other than (preferably white) flowy dresses is totally out the window for me! 

38 degree weather calls for a gorgeous cotton midi dress like this one from Mango, paired with some beautiful tan wedges, gold accessories (this necklace is my dream) and the prettiest straw bag from Zara – I desperately wanted the white version of this but it sold out before I decided to order it, so I didn't hesitate when I saw they brought it back in pink! Topping off the look we have the new Hourglass Diffused Bronze Light bronzer and the gorgeous NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl... Simple, but effortlessly beautiful: this is definitely my dream Summer uniform!

My skin has been one of my biggest insecurities since I can remember. I suffered from pretty bad acne in my teens and it has left some pretty ugly scarring around my nose and chin, so I'm extra wary of those areas of my face. That and the fact my skin is constantly feeling dehydrated and dull, as well as being ridiculously sensitive, makes up for a less than ideal base!

However, I've introduced some new skincare goodies into my routine and I've definitely noticed some great improvement to my skin. Today I thought I'd walk you through some of my hero products that helped bring the glow back to my skin!
